Fill in your Brand Brain
10 minEverything the machine writes reads this first. It is the whole difference between copy that sounds like you and copy that sounds like the internet.
Done when your niche, audience and at least three voice traits are saved.
Add photos of yourself
Optional5 minThe Branded Social and Personal Feature styles put your real face on the slides. Without photos those two styles fall back to a plain surface.
Done when three or more Brand Photos are uploaded.
Feed it what you know
Optional5 minPaste a video transcript or a framework and it writes from your methodology instead of what a model already knows. This is the step that stops the carousels being generic.
Done when at least one knowledge source is saved.
Make your first carousel
10 minPick an idea, choose a style, approve the words, and let it build the images. Everything after this is repetition.
Done when one carousel has its seven images.

Connect an image model - you need this one
Carousel Machine generates a new photograph of YOU for each slide, built from the photos in your Brand Brain. That requires an image model which accepts reference images. Add an OpenRouter key in Settings and it uses Nano Banana Pro (google/gemini-3-pro-image). Two minutes to set up, cents per carousel.
Without it, the built-in generator takes text only and cannot see your face. Slides come back either as somebody who is not you, or as your one uploaded photo repeated on every slide. Neither is postable.
